Today we shall some facts on temperature on our food. The lower the temperature of storage, the greater the cost. Most of the food will keep best at a temperature just above their freezing point. Certain foods have an optimal storage temperature or range of temperature well above the freezing point and may these get damaged by lowering temperature. A well known example is Banana, which should not kept in refrigerator; it keeps best at 13.3 to 16.7. some variants of apple also undergo “ low-temperature breakdown” at temperatures near freezing & sweet potatoes best kept under at 10 to 12.8C
