Freeze burn

A common defect we notice in veggies, which are taken out from refrigerator commonly known as freeze burn. 
What is freeze burn?


Fluctuation in storage temperature results in growth small sized ice crystals on the surface of veggies or meat, when these evaporatore produces dry, grainy, brownish defect called as freeze burn. And the tissue becomes tough and dry.
